my name is Kenyatta
I am a mother, author, entrepreneur, and woman of faith who has learned what it means to fight through pain while still trying to hold life together for everyone else. Behind the smiles, responsibilities, and accomplishments, I silently battled over a decade of alcoholism, mental heaviness, trauma-based fear, anxiety, and deep resentment that slowly weighed on every part of my life. For years, I survived emotionally instead of truly healing.
After recently going through treatment and beginning my recovery journey, I found myself in a place I never expected — wanting to reconnect with God but not knowing how to pray anymore. I had so much pain, confusion, guilt, and emotional exhaustion built up over the years that I no longer had the words.

That moment inspired the I Forgot How To Pray series. I created this series for the people who feel broken, overwhelmed, disconnected, ashamed, anxious, or spiritually lost. These prayers were written from real pain, real healing, and real conversations with God during some of the darkest and most transformative moments of my life. My mission is to create a safe place where people can heal, rebuild, rediscover their faith, and understand that no matter what they have been through, they are never too far gone for grace, healing, and restoration.
